What is Defence & Security Awareness?
Defence awareness means understanding the structure, role and importance of the armed forces and security institutions of a country. It includes the Army, Navy, Air Force, missiles, defence research, border security, internal security, cyber security, military exercises, ranks, awards and important operations.
National security means protecting the country’s sovereignty, territory, people, economy, borders, sea routes, airspace, cyberspace and critical infrastructure. It includes external defence as well as internal security.
